Jennifer Beason, a Georgia Institute of Technology engineering graduate, founded Financial Directions in 1983 in order to leverage her analytical skills in the employee benefits arena. Jennifer has spent over 30 years growing a loyal client-base while cultivating important contacts in the industry to make an entire team of resources and specialists available. These resources are valuable in providing customized solutions and answering technical questions. As an independent broker, Jennifer can work with all major companies that provide employee benefits.
Jennifer obtained the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations in 1987 and 1994 respectively. Ongoing education through The American College of Financial Services and other industry webinars and seminars remains a priority. “Essentials of Healthcare Reform”, which detailed many features of the Affordable Care Act, was among the numerous coursework completed recently.
Jennifer is a charter member and founding officer of the Northwest Georgia Health Underwriters serving as Program Chair for 5 years providing guest speakers and continuing education for Chapter meetings. Additionally, Jennifer is serving on the board of Keep Calhoun Gordon Beautiful and on the board of the Friends of the Library. She previously served on the Gordon County Chamber of Commerce Board, previously President of the Calhoun Beautification Committee and is a Lifetime Master Gardener
